TCRT5000 TCRT 5000 IR Sensor/Module TCRT5000L Infrared Optical Sensor Line Tracking Line Follower Following Arduino DIY

The IR line following tracking sensor is suitable for project with line following feature. They work by having TCRT5000 transceiver to transmit infrared. When this infrared is not reflected or the reflection is not strong enough, the sensor will output a HIGH digital output. When the infrared is reflected back with sufficient intensity, the sensor will signal a digital output with LOW state. It will also light up the on board LED. The effective sensitivity of the sensor can be calibrated via the on board potentiometer.

Technical details:

- Effective reflection range is 1mm to 25mm
- Flexible input voltage of 3.3V to 5V.
- Digital output (0V or Input Voltage)
- Analog output intensity corresponding to different reflection. (Normally disconnected)
- Utilize LM393 comparator
- Utilize TCRT5000 infrared transceiver
