Description
Descriptions : The 21-10142 is a 1.2mm Small Chisel Soldering Iron Tip made of copper and alloy iron coated iron tips perform excellent on temperature between 360 and 380°C. It can only work 4 to 5 hours if tips continuously get heated up beyond 450°C and chrome layer will lose effect if temperature is up to 500°C. It is suitable for use with 21-10115, 21-10120 and 21-10130 soldering stations. - 0.3μm Alloy iron coating thickness - 0.2μm Chrome and nickel coating thickness - Tip length: 17mm Applications Maintenance & Repair How to use Shape D and examples : FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT: https://hakko.com.sg/blogs/tune-in-with-hakko/soldering-tip-shape-d Soldering chip parts [Use it for soldering chip part.] Put the tip end to the land and drag the tip slowly while feeding solder. Some IC is specified by manufacturer not to be touched electrode by tip end. Drag soldering [Use it for drag soldering.] Put the tip end to the leads and drag it slowly. Apply flux to leads and land pads before soldering. It prevents the troubles such as solder bridge. Pre-tinning lead wire [Use it for pre-tinning lead wire.] Put the cut surface to the lead and drag the tip slowly while feeding solder. Point soldering [Use it for point soldering.] PTH 1. Put the tip end to the land pad and PTH at one time to heat them. 2. Feed solder to form smooth fillet on the land pad. [Use it for point soldering.] QFP Put the tip end to the leads and drag it slowly. Soldering cup terminals [Use it for soldering cup terminals.] 1. Put the cut surface to the lead and terminal at one time to heat them. 2. Feed solder to form smooth fillets. Get rid of gold plating of terminal and pre-tin lead wire. It makes solder spread over the terminal easily and prevents soldering defect. Melting and removing coil coatings [Use it for melting and removing coil coatings.] 1. Put the cut surface to the coil and terminal at one time to heat them. 2. Feed solder.
